I love my church! While we aren't perfect we are continually growing, and hopefully looking more like Jesus. Everyone is welcome here regardless of your background or experience with the "church." OCC is full of people just like you, Maybe you can make it your church too! (+10 for rhyming)
This is a great church. Very solid doctrine and yet very upbeat and contemporary style of worship. It is the best of both worlds. The teaching is relevant and applicable. The people are friendly and you can tell they love God. They have great facilities and a strong youth/childrens program. Definitely worth checking out!!!
This is where the Obi Community Church building is located, but the church itself is far too active to be contained in this location. The group of people who meet here don’t come to Obi Community Church, they are Obi Community Church. Young and old, this portion of the body of Christ is actively serving their community by telling others what Christ did, and what He is doing. This church has cleared through the fog of denominations, that’s right, not Baptist, not Catholic, Methodist, Episcopalian, or Lutheran. This is simply a group of people who believe what the Bible says, and acts on it. Obi is comfortable, casual, and, because Christ is at work, convicting. It’s not a group of perfect people, quite the opposite. It’s a group of sinners who are serving the One who has given them a purpose and a future.
